Who is going to SDCC 2011 ?! :-)

The 3- days 4-days ticket are already sold out but "one day ticket" should be available soon on the website.

For people knowing this convention very well. What hotel(s) do you recommend ?

4 day With Preview days are sold out but how are the 3 days sold out? they dont have 3 day tickets, unless they changed it this year..

Where are you guys getting the info that preview night 2011 is already sold out? I believe what you have read was that 2010 was sold out. I got a little scared for a sec.

I have it directly from the SDCC register people, SDCC 2011 4 days with preview IS sold out, 5 days after the 2010 SDCC convention.

Well that sux for my buddies if that's really true. I got registered at the con for next year. I guess I will be attending preview night alone.

they usually have canceled ones for sale after May 1st every year

For me, I will be there on Friday and/or Saturday so I'm waiting the "one day" ticket sale on the website. It will go on sale in October, isn't it ?

Single day tickets didn't go on sale until December last year.



I already got my 4 day pass w/preview night and my hotel already booked!! WOO HOO!!

Where do o get the tickets? I went to the site and I didn't them on see them on sale. I'm I looking in the right place?

Hey all-

I submitted a question about the rumored sell out and got a form letter back that stated that:

The 2011 SDCC 4 Day ticket WITH Preview Night is already SOLD OUT....this was the ONLY ticket listed as such.

I assume the 4 Day WITHOUT Preview Night and the individual Day tickets are all still available.

They apparently had a significant amount of people buy their tickets for 2011 this year and burned through what their allotment of Preview Night tickets would consist of.

According to the email, tickets this year are going on sale on NOVEMBER 1st.

As a side note...I HATE that they are saying that you may be able to purchase a Preview Night ticket if one becomes available...considering the fact that if you waited, the tickets would sell out and then you would be screwed...
