The presale was an awesome idea, and I hope to see it again next year. The execution of it could be improved, however. I arrived at the pick-up point around 11:40 AM on Thursday, and I was in line for awhile before being told the line would have to be capped. I opted to wait through the lunch hour and a half, because my panel plans were already disrupted, and there were some other people in line with Thursday Only passes who opted to wait, because they did not want to risk being cut off again and leaving the con with nothing.

I understand that staff needs to take their lunches, but I thought lunches could be staggered so that the line would remain open for the whole day, rather than closing during lunch. Also, I think that if you plan to cap the line 15 minutes early, you should advertise the times differently. For example, if you plan to close the line at 4 pm, the pick up time should be advertised as ending at 3:45 pm.

I think the fast passes should be distributed for the day of only. People on Facebook were aware that you could get in line without a fastpass if the line slowed down, but there were many people on the show floor that thought they could not come back to the booth until the time on the pass. By Thursday afternoon, the Elite personnel were already handing out passes for Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

I had a blast being there & can't wait until year to go back. I had my problems with the traffic inside, I received my items in 10-15 minutes. I spent alot more than I throught but it was well worth it. Finally got a chance to met Pixal Dan. San Diego is a beautiful city & I'm looking forward to going every year!!

Everything went smooth for me this year at SDCC. A whole lot better than last year especially the lines and the prepaid stuff. Only problem at the con was waiting for like 2 hours for the credit card machine to work, that wasn't much fun. One other problem I think you guys should address is the whole taxing problem. I stood in line to pick up my prepaid stuff and some of the people in line got taxed and some didn't. You need to get the tax problem straight and consistent. Either tax everybody or don't. And I'm not talking about people in other states, I'm only talking about California!

First off, I am a big fan of the pre-order system but it does need some tweaking. Hopefully this year you can allocate more Swamp Thing w/ Un-Men and Queen Marlena figures to the pre-orders that you set aside. Last year the Plastic Man and Orko figures sold out in a couple minutes before I could even get the page to load and I was on the website and logged in as the pre-order went live.

Second, it would be nice to have the Four Horsemen signing at some time other than between the Mattel DC panel and the Matty Collector panel. I went down to the Mattel booth for this last year and by the time I got back up to the room, the Matty Collector panel was already filled to capacity. This had a lot to do with the Marvel vs. Capcom panel that came after Mattel, which a lot of people were getting there early for.

Third, please post your exclusives distribution plan prior to SDCC. Last year the line was capped almost immediately and fast-pass tickets were handed out for the next day at the booth. Your communication needs to be clear about where you will be handing out the fast-pass tickets (at the booth or at the sails pavilion) in advance so fans can know what to expect and not be wasting time running around from place to place.
