Hi, I read in the Ask Matty section this "Also, to get this out early, sales will be limited to attendees only on Wednesday night and Thursday until noon. Exhibitors and professionals can purchase starting at noon on Thursday."
If attendees only have between preview night and Thursday at noon won't there be mass hysteria at the Mattel both. I don't see how they can possibly serve everyone in that amount of time. Unless a pre-order system is in the works. I guess I don't understand why this would be the policy when others have their booth open to attendee sales throughout the entire show. I'm confused.

Attendees can still buy the exclusives the rest of SDCC, it's just the exhibitors and professionals who will be excluded on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Those guys can probably get ahold of attendee badges though, so I'm not sure how effective this policy is. Oh well, anything that can help.

Oh. Ok. That makes total sense. Whew. I'm still crossing my fingers for a possible pre-order.

I agree... I am a bit concerned... There are thousands of people like me who cannot afford to go for 4 days and only have Saturday available for us to go there. We will miss out most of the exclusives, and the exhibitors will have more advantage than we do.

I know-- several of you probably will say, "call in sick" miss one day-- how much can it hurt?" or "You should have gotten Thursday tickets instead!"

Several of us need to support our family in this dreadful economic session-- that is only way we could afford to get the toys we love... And this method is making it more difficult for us to obtain those incredible toys.

Again, I know I am not alone on this-- there are thousands who are in same shoe as I am...

Well if Mattel does the "come back at this time" coupon then many of the one-day badge holders will be out of luck. Lets see how this year will go.
