You have to pick up your tickets upstairs where you have to go first to pick up your badge. It's in the same hall area just look for signs that indicate what you are looking for. After you pick up your ticket you have to go downstairs and prepare to get in line to get your exclusives.

I'm going Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Good luck Big Grin

Hi, please on this year San Diego Comic Con, please
do not give reservation purchase for next day toy exclusives, people
like me work and can only go one day, I now there is no guaranteed on
obtaining the exclusives and I understand that, but please do as other
years reserve exclusives for all days and first come first serve rule,
so all of us can have the same chance.

P.S. Last year I Made a 1Hr line upstairs before opening the convention to try to obtain the pass for the exclusives, (I was the first person on line) and after the waiting you guys told me that all the passes for that day
where given the day before..... please don't do it again, or at least tell us so we don't loose time making a good for nothing line.

Thank you

Not necessarily.

That's how Hasbro has done their line for years.

Mattel hasn't announced how they will be handling their line this year.

Last year they gave out Speed Passes after the line got out of hand downstairs. Mattel gave out passes at the end of the line downstairs and eventually they decided to hand out passes upstairs.

Nothing has been confirmed yet for this year.

Oh ok I wasen't in line for Mattel last year. I was two years ago for the Lobo figure and I had to pick up my ticket upstairs. Wow so I see it's gotten more hectic now. Hopefully soon they will announce how they will handle it this year.

I'm sure the speed passes worked for some and not others. What I would like to know is what Mattel plans on doing IN ADVANCE so I don't have to run around trying to figure out where I need to be. The convention is already crazy with the amount of people there, so I don't need Mattel to add to the chaos by not announcing or changing their plan on the fly. I hope that we get some details soon since Preview Night is only 5 days away!

Same here Zodach:

Eve Of Destruction / Toyguru:

What are Mattels plans for pre-line passes (if at all) this year?

Do we grab a place or get a ticket/ speedpass(s) upstairs first? then grab a place in line?

thanks

I would check the Sails Pavilion first thing in the morning. Southeast(?) corner. Hasbro has their fastpass line set up there in the morning, and last year, Mattel moved their fastpass line there for the latter half of the con, so there's a good chance they will be there again.

Last year I was in line on Wednesday Night, but as I finally got near the actual booth, they said they had to close down and handed everyone a pass to return the next day. Not sure if it will be the same this time. I hope they figure out a good way to do it.

So with first come, first serve won't Mattel have the same issue this year? How are they going to keep people from hovering around the booth and lining up if they aren't handing out fast passes? It would have been nice if they could have pre-sold more Orko and Plastic Man exclusives.

Most of the same people that pre-ordered would still go to the Mattel booth on Preview Night to buy more exclusives. I got my voucher but I'm still going to the Mattel booth to max out on items.
