Do you all think this line will keep going for years to come. I personally love this line, and want them to put out as many characters as possible.

But they seem to be released rather slowly, with a lot of characters seeing repeat releases.

Also what would you like to see in the future.

I would love to see More batman characters

Bane
Poison Ivy
Clayface
Mad Hatter
The Riddler
Penguin
Ra's Al Gouhl
Alfred
Bruce Wayne
Man Bat
Harley Quinn
Bat Girl
Dick grayson Robin

But I would be open to all and any additions to the DCIH line.

what do you think and what would you like to see in the future?

I dont think there is a future unless Matty figures out a way to clear out all that wave 1 crap thats clogging up Target and get some new product out. I like this line but I dont ebay prices like this line so unless I start seeing some new product at retail Im selling my collection and calling it quits.

...wants a DCUC Superboy Prime with SC variant.

New product has been trickling out slowly to Target and K-Mart (of all places) and seems to sell when they actually get it in stock. Alex Luthor is still a pretty strong pegwarmer, and I've seen Psycho-Pirates hanging around, but the last couple of waves seem to be moving pretty well. And some of the new figures have been really cool. So I hope it keeps going.

Yeah. I have a lot more hope now after recently seeing a couple waves of the 75 year anniversary DCIH Sell out quickly in local K Marts and Targets. and Wal Marts around here have been moving the newer 3 packs pretty well.

I love this line and hope they keep it going. Im excited and nervous to see what the future holds for DCIH.

I would like to see Legion of Superheroes, preferably 70's era costumes, and Build A Figures of Colossal Boy and Validus. Also 2 3-pack suggestions: Founders. One pack would be the original 3 founders Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, and Lightning Lad in their 60's costumes for general release and the other would be the same 3 in their first appearance costumes as a SDCC or Matty exclusive.

CCC.

Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.

I would love to see this line keep going, but it needs design help..i hate to admit it but Marvels/Hasbro is getting it right with their designs.

The new secret wars 2 packs have their flaws but get very close to nailing it on the head as far as design goes..

I'm a die hard DC fan but will buy a few marvel figures from time to time.
Mattel should have never let the big hands design out. I do not mind if they copy Hasbro and add to and improve on. This would also help sells..
Your name is on the product Mattel. Do it right the first time.

Why don't we see comic packs in this line?

I can't really see why. If Hasbro can wangle it, I have no idea why Mattel couldn't have.

I really doubt this line is going to make it, which is sad. They really are hitting a good stride now as far as the figures themselves go, at least on the male side, but they really are lagging behind Hasbro. Marvel Universe seems to be doing fine, but IH is definitely in trouble.

You can't make a line a success with the strategy "if you buy the subpar figures we're making now, we'll make better ones in the future." You need some competitive product out there from day one.

Well, I think the newer articulation is helping the line and the price is cheaper than MU and the V3 body has more range in kicks than MU. I like and I have invested heavy over the last month. I think Matty, Mattel should consider some smaller C&C figures in the packaging. Gives us a wave with V3 bodies, and each figure could come with a piece for a; 5.5 inch DARKSEID, 5 inch KALIBAK, 4.5 inch LOBO, 4.5 inch Killer Croc. They could give us a wave a qtr. at the least. You know the deal. But the females have to have wrist and elbow joints at least for this line to really work.

That would be cool to do a build a figure assortment. Making it possible to build a DC character in 5 or 6 inch scale. I do like the new 75th anniversary figures and the new articulation being introduced.

They are on the right track.

Would like to see some more major characters and their "families" in the 3 packs.

More Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Flash, JLA, Teen Titans, etc themed 3 packs.

But i am happy with the line and hope there are some cool reveals at SDCC.

Very Excited about the SDCC exclusive set!!

I hope this line can last a long time and Mattel can keep putting out a good blend of lesser known characters and major fan favorites.

THat's one bright spot, and hopefully something that might bring some hold-outs around. From what I've seen and heard of the set thus far, it's probably hands down the best thing Mattel has done with the DC license since they got it. I've seen a lot of folks expressing interest in the set who aren't into the line at all, so maybe some new interest will be sparked (the main reason for the exclusives to begin with: promoting the line). All the figures have the newer bodies, so it's a good showcase for how far the line has come.

Well I just received my first V2 & V3 figures from sellers on ebay, Mr Terrific and Deathstroke. I am overseas and this is my only way of obtaining the V2 & V3 body DC characters except BBTS. Mr Terrific looks good but needed the V3 body because he is a martial artist like Deathstroke. Deathstroke just blew me away. The paints are tight, well on both really, scupts are nice, too. The silver legs instead of blue on Deathstroke really doesn't bother me. The joints are very tight and his range of motion is amazing and mine can do a straight up high kick without me holding him, now for me that is something for this size of a figure. I have several ML's MU's, Streetfighters, DCUC's and GI Joes' and none can do this without assistance from a stand or my hand. Amazing is this figure. I can't wait until my others come in from ebay and BBTS. I am starting to really love this line. Mattel needs to come up with some kind of incentive to the big retailers to keep this line going. I think it can bounce back but only with the right sales incentive. From what I am hearing from others on other boards, the newer figures are doing well.

I also bought 2 cases from BBTS that shipped today of Mr Terrific, Deathstroke, Black Adam and glow green John Stewart plus the two not articulated females. I am going to build me a DC Universe in a smaller scale so that the DCUC C&C Atom Smasher, Giganta, Chemo, Trigon, Imperiex and Brimstone have some real meaning.

I thought I heard that Hasbro has canceled their Star Wars comic packs- don't know about their Marvel packs though.

And i don't know how DC is on reprinting their comics.

Yeah. Star Wars comics packs are canceled. But right now there are more Marvel comic packs set to be released.

It would be cool if DC did this.
