Mattel has tried to add more articulation into the female DCIH figures but just failed in the execution. Here are some photos posted by dah140.

That new Wonder Woman is so skinny, she looks like freaking Olive Oyl.
The limbs all got skinnier and the lower torso to too elongated.

Mattel FAILED on their articulation redesigns. The men are less muscular and the women are now too skinny.
And still no elbow articulation on the females.

COME ON MATTEL, Start Over and get it right next time.

Start with articulated elbows and go from there. Go back to the original prototypes and get rid of the bustline joint and use a waistline joint instead.

I love collecting DCIH, and I like more articulation, but the new sculpt designs are worse than the originals.

Its kind of funny (funny in the sad, bad way) that the way the women's arms are positioned look like they are trying to drip something off of them and with no elbow articulation they will all look like that no matter how you pose them. Wonder Woman's knees look like she has an extra fold of skin hanging above her kneecap. Then there's those two round hip joints, it just looks unfinished to me. Don't count on this body changing anytime soon. You know Mattel has to get their mileage out of their bad sculpts before they can move on to a worse one.

Is that a cut joint shoulder on the new female sculpt or a ball joint at the shoulder?

Personally, I like the way the new female sculpt looks. The Female shoulder to hip ratio looks much more accurate.

I don't see why they couldn't do the elbow joints the same as the knee's...but I guess they didn't want to spend too much money if the line is going to die anyway.

I'm just happy with the new articulation. The fact they did what was asked of them, for the most part, is good enough for me.

I say, still no good enough.
Mattel should go back to some of the features from the original prototypes.

I would like them to use the original upper torso with the swivel joint at the waist and not bustline. They had ball jointed shoulders and elbow joints. I want the figures to be able to sit properly, so I would not use the V-crotch, and use the ball jointed hips.

Why aren't they using this type of body???? I think the point is moot. Infinite Heroes will become Young Justice. What a waste.

Hmmmm...so the prototypes have good articulation, & then they get rid of it all for the final figures.

Interesting.

Do you have some photos of WW next to Powergirl and Catwoman?

Cause she looks smaller....or was the original WW bigger?

I really like the added articulation! I think it is so much cooler that the clunky original! The new Wonder Woman rocks! I really prefer the NEW articulated Batman, Superman etc.....These figures desperately need MORE MORE and MORE articulation!
