Why? They obviously care nothing about the collectors. I submitted questions about Cars in the Ask Matty forum, and as I predicted in my post, I have watched several questions about other toy lines be answered, but not a single word about Cars. So Matty, why produce a toyline that you obviously care nothing about???

Wow!!!! Thats a shocker, they still haven't responded to my question about Cars!!! They probably saw the word Cars in the title of the post and didn't even look at it. Maybe I should repost it and put MOTU in the title, then atleast they would look at it.

I don't know if any of the folks involved here at Mattycollector have any idea whats going on with anything but the Cars stuff offered here. Sadly, this line is the odd man out here, a property I don't think Toy Guru is involved in at all.

I'll admit, Mattel kind of coasted for a while with the ill-conceived "let's re-release everybody with lenticular eyes and save a bunch on production costs!" idea. THey seem to be trying to get actual new product out now, albeit with the usual problems of actually getting the product to retailers to sell.

Mattel has the CARS line because they are quite successful with
it at retail.

As for having it on this board, the website is pretty generic in that
it may be mainly figures but anything that 'Matty' produces that
consumers 'collect' will be appropriate for the website/board.

The sole reason for this board is to sell merchandise.

As for information about CARS, there are a couple websites/forums which
provide better information for collectors.

I'm aware of the other forums and sites(IMO carsthetoys.com and Take5aday.com being the best) but the answers I seek can only be answered by Mattel, which seems to not give a hoot about this line. If they didn't know the answers or just didn't want to answer them, they could have atleast responded with a "I don't know".
