The figures were a real let down.

For a movie to be such a blockbuster, I wished the toys reflected this as well by being the best of the best. Even now in my local Toys R Us and Wal-marts has these things on the clearance rack for dirt cheap and they're still not selling =(

Then again it could be because the targeted audience (little kids) has 'grew bored' of the line and awaits the next 'cool and latest thing' in the toy aisles.

Yeah, the figures are not that good looking at all. They are fun though & I would love to see more.

Unfortunately Mattel hasn't yet mastered the 1/18th scale(3.75) in either articulation, sculpt or quality. DC Infinite Heroes seem to be getting better, but it might not be quick enough.

Playmates tried and failed in that scale too w/ 2 popular titles (Star Trek and Terminator).

Hasbro seems to be one of the only companies who can pull this size off well, which makes sense since they've been using it a long time.

I hope this doesn't turn Mattel off 3.75 inch figures, as I do like this scale when the figures are of a better quality.

Mattel, please stop making articulated copies of the original MOTU toys as a rule and only use old elements that still hold up to today's standards.
