Hey folks,

Just wondering about the new Scarecrow figure arriving for the MM line.

I have heard this will once again be a masked version?

I'm not sure what the drive will be to get folks to order this figure since many people can easily make the version themself.

Does anyone agree an unmasked version, or atleast a second head added, would have made this a much more worthwhile release?

I personally collect mine MOC, and even if I did open them, I don't have the skills to customize my figures nicely Frowner

I will be buying this Scarecrow because it's the normal Batman Begins Scarecrow. I also have the other one, which was only seen on screen for a few seconds. Don't get me wrong, I like obscure characters and variants of regular characters, but I like to have the regular versions first.

However, I do agree that having an unmasked Scarecrow would have been very nice. It may have even been nicer than the regular masked Scarecrow.

With that said:

Do I hope that they'll make an unmasked Scarecrow? YES.

Will I be buying the current Scarecrow and will I enjoy it? OF COURSE.

I usually don't take the figures out of the package either, but that is a good idea about the head. They should of had a removable mask, like on the Survival Suit Bruce Wayne figure. Will be buying it anyway.Like the suit version better than the other one and I want to finish out the collection, even if it means buying that Sonar Eyes Batman(with battle damaged suit). They could have made a Nurse Joker or something, besides that.

It would be normal - if it had a tie

I want scarecrow but I think im gonna wait for him to hit TRU hes just not something that I can see myself paying over $20 for when I can just wait a month or two and get him for aroung $12. Figures like Jail Cell Joker and Two-Face are completely different stories though. Smiler

I'll be getting him. I'm an opener and a collector, not a customizer.

I'm enjoying my Batman of the month club. And this time, the shipping will be worth it, as I'm picking up all of DCUC Wave 12 as well.

I agree - I ordered Jail Cell Joker and I'll be ordering Two-Face, but the others will only be worth it if I find them at TRU later...I'll probably still pass on this Scarecrow and the 'Night Vision' Batman (really, who noticed any 'battle damage' on him in the movie?), but picking up Harvey and Bruce would be cool...

I'll be ordering Scarecrow to avoid paying reseller prices in the UK.

Y'know, I've bought this entire line so far.. but I think I'll be passing on this one for the time being. I just can't see paying $23-ish for one figure that has nothing new to offer, and suffering through the ordering process on new-release day. I'll just hope he's still around next month or that he shows up at Toys.

I think this is the official beginning of Matty apathy for me. Frowner (Come to think of it, Mattyapathy could be a new word for this site!)

I couldn't pull the trigger. I just can't justify this Scarecrow. I've bought multiples of Bozo, Wayne, Dent and Jail Cell Joker but I just can't bring myself to buy ANY of Scarecrow.

It's not a bad figure per se but I think the kitbashing used on him is pretty awful. I mean the tie is one thing but has anyone looked at his hands? They didn't even bother to give him normal ungloved hands like Harvey Dent or the original Scarecrow. They just threw on the Gotham City Thug gloved hands and molded them in flesh tone.

That, to me doesn't warrant a 20+ dollar figure, let alone $12.99. The only incentive I'll have to pick this up is to complete the line, which I've completed save for this Scarecrow, Sonar Batman and Two-Face.

Scarecrow is just too expensive and poorly made to even want to buy. This is the first Movie Masters figure I'm passing on. If Mattel just gave him a tie and the right hands I would have bought atleast 3 of this one.

Saves me money but also puts a hole in my collection. As much as I like the suited Scarecrow in Begins and The Dark Knight I'll just stick with the original MM Scarecrow. It's much cooler and far more superior than this piece of junk.

Yeah I picked him up today. Was happy about my purchase but disappointed in the sculpt.

But, if this is as close as I'll get to a suited version, I'm game.
