I wish they would keep going.

I do feel some surprises at SDCC.

Looks like it's confirmed that the Dark Knight Movie Masters Line will be finished. Just read Matty's Q&A 05/15

Mattel, please stop making articulated copies of the original MOTU toys as a rule and only use old elements that still hold up to today's standards.

You have to read between the lines sometimes...the response specifically stated 'Dark Knight'...that doesn't mean we might not see MM figs from some of the other Batman movies. I could be way off base here, but we collectors have proven that we'll shell out the dough for these things...I can't imagine they'll walk away from the chance at making a bit more money...

True, Mattel never mentioned anything other than Dark Knight. I hope since they have the rights for Christopher Reeve (and probably most other Superman 1 & 2 characters, at least Zod), they may try Superman Movie Masters figures. If they sell out quickly, which I hope (I'd buy 2 at least!), then Mattel may release other iconic DC movie characters (Keaton's Batman or Nicholson's Joker).

At this point we do not have plans for more 6-inch Dark Knight Movie Masters. Gordon and Fox would be great, but they just did not make the cut this time.

Well they said " did not make the cut this time" so there may still be some hope. And Superman MM's would be great. I think they would definitely sell if they go with the Reeve sculpt. Routh on the hand not so much.

Totally agree with you Batwasp. A Cesar Romero Joker would be amazing. Could you imagine a whole MM line for the 60's show. A Frank Gorshin Riddler, Penguin,False Face, Bookworm etc... That would be awesome. Mattel could do so much with this line. Lets all keep our fingers crossed guys.

I just want a Gary Oldman Gordon and a Liam Neeson Ra's Al Ghul, both in his armor, and in a suit. I can live without a Watanabe decoy Ra's.

Check out my custom action figures at my website Mint Condition Customs!

I need more MM in my life.

Batman, Superman, Michael Keaton, Christian Bale. I dont care. Just more MM Please.

I would really love Liam as Ra'a al Gouhl, Nurse Joker, Oldman as Gordon, Nicholson as Joker, and Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl.

Come on Mattel just make them for another 2 or 3, maybe 25 years Smiler

While I'd Love to See A Gordan, Ra's Al Ghul, and a nurse Joker I think that the Movie Masters Line for the Batman Films done until the third film. Now the older Keaton Batman Movies would rule but unlikely. However think about what coming out with in the next two years out side of Batman we have a Green Lantern movie coming up and a reboot of Superman done by Nolan as well. I see a great amount of figures potential here. Think about it A GL Hal Jordan, Sinestro, Dr. Hector Hammond etc. as well as what ever Nolan has planed for Superman outside of Supes, Clark Kent, and Lex Luthor

My Matty wishlist
Movie Skeletor
MMGL Secret ending Sinestro with ring
Vehicle Voltron
Lo-Tron
Proton Pack
a Superman Movie Masters line for the Richard Donner and Christopher Reeve movies

they said no more dark knight movie masters. they didn't say no more movie masters figures. ghostbusters is a "movie masters" line and while the couple of begins characters that were made in the dkmm line had "the dark knight" on the header, ra's, alfred, dr crane, gordon and fox were all in batman begins. maybe they're just going to change it to an all encompassing batman films line. or maybe they're more worried about green lantern movie masters right now which was just announced. maybe we'll get a ra's and a gordon in the batman 3 movie masters assortment. either way, we got a lot of great movie masters figures and a rad movie masters batpod already, so i'm not gonna cry if i never get a liam neeson doll.

also, superman is the 12 inch movie masters. now, ghostbusters has both 6 & 12", but it seems like the "commemorative" aspect of the superman film is what gave it a more, um, expensive? treatment. if they do a superman or luthor or zod in the dark knight movie masters line, they might as well throw in a swamp thing and a jonah hex figure too. seprate liscences get seperate treatments, and i for one totally understand that. if you want a batman, joker, superman, luthor and scarecrow all in scale with one another, there's the dcuc line.
