I hear ya on the wave 1s. They were hard to get but I got six of the wave 1 jokers and I think about 3 of the thugs. I never did get all the mask variants from wave 1 but I got the standing batman and the loose wave 1 batman and the anomoly carded one with the sticker. Also got the unmasked variant in the standing pose. I hated it when they changed the pose to that stupid kicking pose.

Okay, I'm a completist when I can be.
But most of the time I will try and get 2 copies of any given figure sometimes more.

I have a MM Joker that I believe to be the first run. Then I have one with a black sticker over the assortment number. I never knew about air holes until reading this post or maybe bothered to care.

So what are all the variants?
And will anybody really give a crap?
Such as a 12" POTF Luke with binoculars on belt instead of blister. Price guides use to love that stuff now I don't think they even list variants.

the one with the black sticker is from the "second' wave called an "anomoly joker". You can tell if it's the figure from the wave 1 in the wave 2 packaging if the collar is a light purple color.

That sticker could also be on the Wave 2 versions with the holes, not just the anomalies.

well the product is identical wheather it has air holes or not. also they were all made in the same year so I don't think the holes makes that big a deal..if I'm not mistaken even non air hole MM don't fetch much on the bay.

like some one already said, almost no one give a sh*t about MMs. soooooo, did any of you guys resort to paying the crazy high ebay prices that were out in 08? I remember one listing for $200.00 for a Joker!! & sad to say the listing only lasted a day.

some poor noob forked out two "C" notes plus shipping just to own something that would be as common as old *** transformers. I bet all to spent that kind of money felt like tools...........oh, sorry if that hits a nerve with any one.

I have to agree - but n00bs do that kind of thing...

I waited until about this time last year and picked up a couple of case assortments from an online store that had them on clearance...best (collectible) purchase I ever made.

I saw this at Wal Mart and did not pick it up. Regretted it, went back a day or two later and they were gone, which I expected. Oh well, I was not sweating it too bad.

Last week I was in Indy and stopped at a TRU and saw three of them for five bucks. Picked up the one with the best paint on the face. Love the figure. Really wish I could find the Batman to display with it, but this will do fine beside my DK bluray.

I'm sure at this point you found one of the wave 2s with airholes.

I only have 2. one MOC and another open. I really like the figure. The face paint could be a little better but I still like it alot. I wish Joker had bicep joints like the clown thug does so Joker could open his arms for better posing.

I love this figure as well. I have 2 each of every MM. One loose and one MOC. and Wave 1 Joker is still my favorite.

I really hope they continue this line somehow, even if they just start making them again in the same scale when the next Batman movie comes out.
