I got mine in the mail from Matty (and have seen some in Toys now), and I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed in the figure. I'm usually not one to complain, but compared to the glowing blue effect that we saw as a preview and on the package, the solid white eyes were a huge let-down. And the three tears in the suit where there's skin showing still have the uniforms texture to it. I'm wishing I hadn't opened the one I picked up at Toys and just returned it.. Frowner

You can still return it as long as you didn't throw the packaging away, break the figure or lose the receipt.

Yeah, along with Scarecrow, both figures are horrible. They're the only two Movie Masters figures that I refuse to purchase. The figures are just that bad.

However, I thought it was interesting that Batman's eyes glow in the dark and instead of green they glow blue. I have to admit that it's a nice touch. I was in Toys R Us looking at each figure on the pegs and just noticed it hanging there with glowing eyes. I picked it up, held it to the light and it didn't glow. Then I cupped my hand over the bubble and it was even more noticeable then it was on the peg.

I also like the matte grey/silver finish on it. Almost exactly how Batman appeared at the end of the movie. I hated how the dirt and grime looked on it in the initial pics last year. Looked like someone **** on him. The production figure is much better in terms of paint apps.

Still, that flesh tone "battle damage" scratches or whatever looks ridiculous and cheap. It completely turned me off the idea of owning the figure.

I completely missed the fact that it glows in the dark.. nice touch I have to admit. But I'd still rather it didn't look like just white eyes, I guess that's just me. Wink I agree with you on the Scarecrow too, DF, very lazy attempt.

Wow,thanks for the info.I also did not know this figures eyes glowed in the dark.I had to go try it out after reading this.I'm also disappointed in the white eyes.I had asked about this in the Ask Matty forum, and the amswer I got was that the eyes would be a light blue.If they looked just a little like the eyes on the package,it would have been better.Indeed,a very poor figure, just bought it to complete the collection. They could have released something way better.

I did not know the eyes glowed either. It would have been cooler if they glowed blue instead of green. The battle damage tears are just stupid They could have done better, but they just slapped up another repaint.

I noticed the fact that it glowed when I first saw it at TRU (it was the only new MM figure there), and that was the ONLY reason I bought it. To me, that one detail was enough to salvage what would have been a 'meh' figure.

Does anyone have any pictures? What is new to this figure that makes him worth 20+ dollars?

As with Scarecrow, it is hard to justify paying for something like this.

They do glow blue.

Mine glow green. Most glow in the dark features tend to glow a shade of green. I guess that's due to the paint used.

Then I guess we should chalk that one up as a legit variation.
