What we will do is when we bring Moss Man back down the road, we'll go into production from the start on both flocked and non flocked ears 50/50 so their is plenty to go around!

Scott

All Inclusive Subscription ...that is the only way TG. If you want to fix things and let everyone "get all the versions produced" then the All Inclusive Subscription is the way to go. Yes that includes Con exclusives with out any alterations..Your call TG but otherwise, thanks for coming forward about this.

On a side note, I didnt get the flocked ear one <_< will have to try and see if friends will help on that one and a extra unflocked ear one <_< but my sub one si coming soon ^_^

"Yes..that is good counsel, but you know how I hate bad news" words of wisdom from the mighty Hordak ^_^

We will increase production as demand continues to go up and I'm sure Moss Man will be back in time (but I can tell you it won't be in 2010).

Seriously? That's not just disappointing--it's unacceptable. Matty Collector heavily promoted this figure for months and then made it virtually impossible to purchase by allowing it to disappear in less than 60 seconds--at least that's what the website said. I honestly have never seen any company (toy or what have you) get away with so much poor service for so long.

Well, once again I went through every order today and once again VERY few customers are ordering 10 (in fact very few order more then 4)....

Scott

Hello Scott thanks for answer Smiler, but when you ask about order numbers this forum didn't exist Big Grin I'll be really happy if you limit to 4 or 5 figures per each one, I'll try to buy Evil-Lyn and I'll have more oportunities to have one.
For 2011 Subscription, please give more information about figures it'll include (3 months are very few) because they'll be 12 monthly figures + 4 bonus + 4 bigggggest figures + 1 exclusive Big Grin = We have 21 figures, and we only will know 6 maybe 7 (include exclusive). I think you can say more, not all, but a few more, and please for my subscription don't put POP figures Lol.
Friendly regards from Spain, and Thanks for reading Smiler

I just don't get it. The people that were whining about Moss Man's flocked ears are now whining about not getting one, what's up with that?! I am one of the FEW who actually wanted a flocked ears Moss Man, but I'm happy witht getting my two subs with unflocked though.

Lets break that Speed record!

People are just never happy. I personally could care less which one I got, and I bought two unflocked versions, but there seemed to be a lot of hate for the flocked ears and now everyone is mad they could not get one. What gives?

I am satisfied, given I have the subscription Smiler. I am the guy Mattel likes and wants: I buy everything they sell, you name the line. I like He-Man in the DCUC 2-pack because he is comic-accurate, just as Skeletor looks comic-accurate and the paints maintained their high quality. If there is a change representated in any media or previous toy release, no matter how slight the change, I will be the guy to buy it. Mattel should be proud of their high-quality lines. And I stand behind that statement. Though Hasbro's Marvel Universe stuff is easier to find, what I find more than not are the sloppiest paint aps I have ever witnessed. Paint aps can easily ruin a toy, no matter how nice the sculpting is. I have been VERY impressed with Mattel's figures as of late.

Regarding flocked Moss Man, I wanted him flocked as well because the Beast Man head he comes with would resemble the original 80's version, where the whole head was flocked. Just my thing. Ever see the Simpsons episode where Malibu Stacy was popular again, because this time, the doll was released, identical to the old, but with a new hat? I would be that guy who buys the new one...except I would ebay the old version or donate it to my friend's daycare. The kids LOVE He-Man! My friend got them into dinosaurs, and He-Man's barbarian appearance fits in well. Smiler

I bought flocked Moss Man off of an ebay seller: the first time I have ever done so with this line.

I do appreciate the message that Toyguru sent, and I understand that increases in production won't start until June. That is fine. I still refuse to get a sub though. I love He-Man and all that stuff, but more importantly I love POP. And I know it is completely impossible for there to be a sub. on just POP characters and what-not. That would only occur in my wildest dreams.

So I will be fine with trying to order what I want on the sale day, or waiting for reissues, or looking on Amazon or Ebay. I just really hope that the increase in production in June will change things up and allow those of us that do not want a sub. to get what we want. Because I recall that this line was made for the fans, and that should mean for fans that want/have a sub. and those that don't.

If you're also a fan of POP and like reading fan fiction, be sure to check out my ongoing fan fic in the POP section entitled Adora's Search for Honor.

Great Idea, I would buy it too Smiler
Please Scott answer, Is it possible?

Hey, I'd have been happy with ANY Moss Man figure. I only wanted one. I waited 5 months so I could have 0 chance in under 60 seconds to get one. So my whining is reserved strictly for what feels like a huge scammy McRib sandwich.

Though I suppose, that should be a big McScamrock shake...as it's St. Patrick's day.

wow, 115 auctins on ebay and climbing with multiple sales within many. they're making enough for the secondary market. How cool. someone commented that Mattel lost money....because of the sellouts etc...ah, I'll break it to ya, they are happy with what they are making, and happy with these forums---because of the interest and attention they grab--negative or positive

My hobby will not be in buying these anymore.....but getting entertained by this forum and this Toygayro fella.

Go Hasbro, Go Transformers. Don't shoot me. lol

been saying this since last Month , with Trap Jaw and Battle Cat.
I bought every single figure on the Website and in most cases 2 of each, 1 for my Son as well ..., no Subscription at all ...., 2010 rolls out, and Adora, Trap Jaw, Battle Cat, and now Mossman sell out in like 5 Minutes , and I never even had a Chance.

It's all Part of the game and Marketing with these...
Every Month,.. the "Allure and Mystique" gets more points.
Congrats Matty.

That caught everyone by surprise?????

Seriously, the fact that you had a bulletin board a day before the sale date stating there will be limited quantities for both Moss Man screams "scalpers/opportunists".

you very know by now that this MOTU line is the hottest thing in the market. what happened to "we want all MOTU fans to have these figure added into their collection"???

is Matty's new battleplan to sell out these figures in under 5 minutes? i mean Hordak & Adora sold out fast in under 1 hour. But under 5 minutes? this is ridiculous! not counting the Battle Cat fiasco!
