Sometimes estates can be even harder to deal with than the people themselves; it took a long time for the Lugosi estate to allow Bela's likeness to be used for a Universal Dracula (or any other character). I think it was Charlee Flatt who finally broke through that blockade, even before Sideshow.

Hopefully getting an Adam West Batman won't be as hard...
