I've spent a long time going over this guy. I've ridiculed, criticized and complained about Mattel's work with the Retro-Action DC Heroes. Finally I have my review up of Lex Luthor. I did this review from a Mego collector standpoint. So if you're not even the slightest bit interested in Megos, knock off two full points from the final score. So how did he shake out? Check out the full review, which I believe is probably the most thorough review of this figure on the net today.

Great Review. Mattel really needs to fix the bodies. They should take a look at the upcoming Zica Toys body for reference.

I really hope Mattel gets these minor issue fixed quickly. I would hate for Retro Action Figures to turn out like Infinite Heroes.
------------------------------------ Mattel, please stop making articulated copies of the original MOTU toys as a rule and only use old elements that still hold up to today's standards. |

Word on the street is that they are working to correct many of the problems. I think Wave 3 will have some updates.
The price point still hurts though. That's going to be a big hurdle for a lot of folks. Hopefully that can come down a bit to EMCE's regular prices. |

The price point is rough on these. It is especially rough when the figure is not great quality. I have noticed that the more recent figure body has trimmed inner bands....yet it is not enough of a fix for the major issues. I also hope they color correct Superman's costume sometime soon. The fixes seem to be taking their sweet, sweet time. Wave three would indicate the October shipment. I guess this makes since the Original GA appeared in Jan and it takes months to address the issues with the factories. Almost seems more like that the real fixes may be coming even later than that!
