I understand your feelings and at times I too have contemplated calling it quits. I do,however believe our mods and TG when they say things will get better. They have yet to abandon me,so I will not be so hasty as to jump ship, so to speak. The 4 horseman are doing so great now and can only go up and I think of all the playsets yet to be seen. They do need better quality control on these but in the end the sky is the limit and I want to go higher.

How old are you, man? The original figs used the same sculpts. That was a theme of the line.
Too expensive? They're a few bucks more than most retail figs, but there's only 1 a month. Not like you're having to buy an entire wave at once.
Bored? Not at all.
IMO this line is one of the most exciting things to happen in the action figure world for some time. Aside from the website chaos, I'm loving this!

Good it'll make it eaasier for the rest of us.
But of course you aren't done. You'll be on tomorrow ordering a figure you don't really want or appreciate.

I start to feel the same way a lot. I guess I'm getting kind of bored. I think the fact that a lot of MY favorite characters are yet to be made. Don't get me wrong, the current line up thus far was really really good, but this year has been kind of OK with me. Not too crazy about NA and I would have been fine with She Ra, but to have to sub figures essentially be the SAME person (Adora and She-Ra), kind of a waste. Would have been fine with Adora since we have seen She-Ra in 200X. But the absense of Snake Men, Horde, and such fan favorites like Man-E-Faces and Ram Man to name a few has bothered me.I know Mattel is probably doing this to stretch the line to whatever year they said, but it could hurt in the long run should people feel the same way. I will wait for SDCC before I decide. I'm kind of OK with the All-In cause right off the bat I will save on shipping versus whats going on now (cant combine shipping on bonus or beasts) , but I will drop this line if the roster doesnt do it for me OR if I get the All-In and then Mattel releases some sort of "bonus" figure outside of the Sub. Not SDCC,but a true bonus during one of those months. Cause then that defeats the purpose of the sub. Just my two cents. Guess I'll see next month.

No one cares if you quit or not. I mean was the intention of this thread was for people to feel sorry for you or just simple attention?

I think if you are looking to call it quits, coming to a fan forum is the wrong place to find like minded individuals. If I ever were to be done, I sure wouldn't still read and post here. Also, as everyone is saying, the re-using of the sculpts is part of the charm. If they ever had another TV show, I wish they would re-use certain stock footage shots like they did in the original. I can see your point in the variety of it all. I am very attached to BA He-Man, since that was my main He-Man figure as a kid, however, I was disappointed that he didn't have a rotating chest plate. So I do want more of the fun mechanical figures to come out, like Kobra Kahn, Ram Man and Man-E-Faces. That factor was always my favorite. Would I say I would leave because, absolutely not, no chance. But I do have a feeling of wanting more. I do agree about the price, but for this kind of collector figure, it's a relatively low price.
I will say this. When Skeletor first came out, I was tight on cash for the holidays and they did not sell out like they do now. I figured wait a little bit to get him. I missed out and I quit, saying there is no point if I don't have Skeletor. I came back as soon as I found out about the re-issues. I still didn't get him the second time around, even though I was right there waiting as soon as he went up. But I'm still buying, because I learned I really do regret the time I lost.

While I haven't got bored with the same sculpts ( I bought Teela, Evil-lyn & The Goddess with out a second thought. Love them all & Yes I need help.) It does seem that they get to be expensive. Especially when you have luke warm feelings about a figure. I've never purchased a 6 inch figure for $30 before. If it weren't MotU/PoP I certainly wouldn't be. It does bite big time that you can miss out in a matter of minutes. Then have to wait another year to get what might very well have been the figure you want most. One thing you might consider before completely quiting the line is just to wait for the re-release. Don't even worry about when a figure gets released the first time. The re-issues tend to last a couple of days so that would take some of the stress. Only get the ones you really want. Nobody really needs every figure. One of the cool things for me is to see different collections & See which figures a person picks and which figures they leave. Its really easy to get a sub and get every figure. Its harder just to get the ones you want. This is a hobby it needs to be fun. It its lost its fun completely then maybe its a good idea to quit or maybe just take a breather. Well, Good Luck to you.
