I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but...
Here was my experience on MattyCollector.com on June 15th: I was logged in, with all billing/account info, etc. all good to go, at 10:30am Eastern time. With everything set, I went to the order screen for MOTUC and began periodically refreshing at 11, just in case they went live early (which happened once before, right?). At 11:50 I got the white screen and began my wait. At about 12:15 it finally let me in and I began ordering. I had huge delay and/or more white screen at every step--every time I added a new product, updated quantity, etc. Once I finally had EVERYthing I wanted, in correct quantities, and was all ready to check out, I got the white screen again. When I finally got through, it had completely emptied my cart and logged me out!! At that point I started frantically re-adding items, but the MOTUC figures (even though they still had an "Add to Cart" button) seemed to be sold out, because they wouldn't add to my cart. I was able to add DCUC and Ghostbusters and hit submit order. Then I waited for about forty-five minutes before the screen finally "timed out" and when I tried to refresh, I got an "applet unavailalbe" page. (in case you're wondering, my order did not go through). I realize that you cannot answer any questions about your relationship with Digital River, traffic numbers, etc. But my question to you is simply this: Do you feel that my ordering experience (which seems pretty common) is acceptable? Do you consider it to be merely part of the "excitement of the Mattel lines"? If not, do you have any advice or recommendations on what someone like me can do to try and have a better experience? ----------------------------------- I left my wallet in El Segundo. |
