And, by the way, sorry to post this here but it's really the only way I see of giving you guys feedback, which is pretty lame... no email addresses? Yikes.
Anyway -- when I heard about your toy line, I was very interested but wasn't planning on buying the figures -- it's another expense and who needs that right now, y'know? But my buddy gave me He-Man and Beast Man for Christmas '08 and the figures were SO COOL that I had to get in on the line. So it is that I've been a loyal customer since almost the beginning of its run. Today was definitely the last straw, though. Two friends and I have worked out a system of getting your figures each month (to save on shipping) and for the past... four months?... despite being online at noon eastern each time we've had to use secondary sources to buy them, often paying double or more to complete our collection. The production runs were supposedly increased with She-Ra, and we figured things would be different today, but of course that was not the case. I mean, your toys are great, they are. But there's no way it should be this much hassle and headache to buy ONE TOY. It's insanity. This line is aimed at ADULT collectors, right? Adults as in people who have jobs, families, bills -- RESPONSIBILITIES other than buying He-Man toys. It should not take hours out of my month, months in a row, to purchase ONE TOY at an insane mark-up. I know you have a bevy of excuses; I've read them all. But the bottom line is: you consistently fail at getting your product into the hands of people who want it. That's bad business, and it's incredibly frustrating. So today I'm part of the choir of people who are done. I don't know how much one customer means to you ($20-something a month?) but it ought to mean something. -Eric |
