Because of your website issue, I missed out on Whiplash. Even after I made it out of the White Screen, it kept refreshing.

I couldn't enter anything because in 5 seconds, it would refresh. I would try again and it refreshed.

I hope MATTY plans on reissuing whiplash because I missed out on him and it wasn't even my fault. It was your company website.

Yeah this was reported 2 months ago and nothing has been done about it...the blame will be your computer or web browser and not their crappy website itself

yes me to i have a new machine with two days of use and this problem shows today , i have internet explorer 8 , i barely able to confirm mi order . i can make it after 25 minutes, in keeps refreshins over an over again so i push the x of my browser an this stop almost immediatly. then came the credit card page and keep refreshing one more time and again i push the x button and execute de compatility think on mya browser ( the one like a paper shattered) an stops so i can complete my order , maybe you should try this the next time. PLEASSE MATTLE FIX THIS ERROR IS NOT THE COMPUTERS IS THE WEBSITE. A FRIEND OF MINE HAS THE SAME PROBLEM

I'm writing a physical letter to Mattel about this as well, but it can't hurt to post it here.

In regard to trying to purchase Whiplash today (Aug. 16th), I had major problems with the WSOD/refresh. I have a fast computer, a fast internet connection, the latest version of Firefox, etc. I tried to order 1 Whiplash figure from 11:55 to 12:50, and I never could complete the purchase. Whenever I was returned to the WSOD, it remained there for 15 to 20 minutes. By the time I got through to the submit order page, the item was sold out. At present, Battle Cat was the last new release item that I have been able to purchase from the site, and that was a long while back. So, at this point I think I'm finished with trying to purchase the new release items.

This problem with not being able to get an order in, as far as new releases go, is recurring month after month, and it has yet to be appropriately addressed or tended to IMO. I'm not saying this in a harsh tone or angrily, but it's simply very aggravating when I can't buy 1 new MOTUC release figure/toy from the site. All I wanted was 1 figure, and it's just disheartening to now go on E-bay, and see page after page of the item, with each seller having 5 to 10 of each at high prices. The WSOD/refresh screen is not the solution to the site traffic problems. There isn't enough product available, and the refresh screens/WSOD only serves to exasperate the issue. I know that items are reissued, but it's usually 1 year or so after the initial sellout (which happens in the span of minutes for new releases). Essentially, if I don't want to purchase a subscription, and I can't order the item from Matty, then I either have to pay $35 to $40 on E-bay (roughly double the initial price of the figure) or wait another year or more for the item to be reissued.

I didn't purchase the 2010 subscription because I didn't want every figure released. This is a horrible business model. The Matty online ordering system needs to be completely revamped IMO. The MOTUC line has been around for some time, and there has been more than enough of an opportunity to repair these problems.

Of course there are worse things in the world, but it's just a very aggravating shopping experience.

I think this is the third sale with issues like that but for some reason it never effected me.Knock on wood.

I haven't been able to try another browser because sale times are during my work hours and they only use IE. I've heard from folks at .org forum that they have better luck with firefox or chrome.

I'm not looking to get anything next month but I'm hoping the site issue is fixed before Grizzlor and Buzz Off get released.

Why is the website still refreshing? The only thing that should be refreshing is the "waiting room" yet the website's front page is continuously refreshing? Please fix this! As this has been going on for at least the past 3 sales and possibly 4???

I had the same problem in August and now again in November. I can choose my shipping info fine but once I get to the billing info page it keeps refreshing automatically every 5 secs. I have to try to change my credit card info, enter the security code and hit submit within 5 secs otherwise I'm stuck for a few minutes of WSOD again. I'm using IE 7 as "recommended" by Matty and Digital River and can't use anything else since I'm work on sale days. Today I actually got my figures which didn't happen last time but it's a very big pain to get a page loaded and then for no apparent reason gets refreshed and then I'm back with WSOD. When I finally got the order submitted I got stuck on WSOD and didn't know if the order was submitted but I got the e-mail confirmation so I just closed the screen... I don't know what's going on but this just keeps getting worse every month.

My understanding is that the white screen can occur on any page that has high traffic, but still, it shouldn't happen in the middle of a transaction. I'm glad you got your figures, but I'm still going to forward this to Digital River so they can be aware.

the endless refreshes are back today. when you get off the 'refresh holding page' and a page is fully loaded (any page), it still refreshes after 5 secs.

it is not that you might get the wsod screen during the middle of the order. it is that once a non-wsod loads, it then refreshes itself after 5secs like the wsod does. it seems to happen when the ´red background´ on pages don´t load, if that helps.

Oge007, I'm not sure exactly what is happening based on your post. Have you tried again since you posted?
