Ok so hopefully Mattel will hear me and everyone out on here...
WWE in the UK was its biggest 90-95 and 99-03. And it was big, selling loads of merchandise. Brett Hart, British Bulldog, Undertaker, The Rock, Stone Cold etc... have all been massive over here. WWE have done tours in all those eras and plenty now too. OK to me WWE has lost it a bit and they have gone PG. I know in the UK kids still love it (I live with one) and they do like the superstars that are out now. But whos taking them to the shops and watching wrestling with them? There Dads and when they take little Timmy to get his John Cena and see Stone Cold, Steamboat, Road Warriors in great detail they may buy or even just be tempted. They'll go home and show there kids the old matchs with the figures they have seen and before you know it...... He's bought one and he's researched the line and found Rodey Piper, The Rock, Bulldog are all coming out. Now that above is just Dad's not including the kid whos Dad's shown the old ones too. The kids that think they look cool. The guys walking past that have fond memories (theres alot). The Adults that buy them for there kids. I mean who you going to pick for your kid Jake the Snake or Dolth Ziggler? AND we have not even mentioned collectors. WWE is on everyday over here and we even have a show that Americans dont have. WWE VINTAGE!!!! It shows the old match's with the old Wrestlers because we prefered it back then. It was bigger. I have never complained about DCUC's not coming to the UK because not alot of people compared to americans/canadians read comics. They would not sell well anougth. But this is a MASSIVE MISTAKE. Your losing out on a lot of money, alot of profit and alot of fans. There IS demand!!! Vintage SELLS!!! Jakks thought so why dont you? I wrote all that with a headacke. So please read Mattel. And other posters give me a reply so I know that someone read it and agree. |

I just received my SDCC Undertaker and it is superb. I consider it a glimpse at what the Defining Moments line will be like, and I assume we won't be getting those in the UK either. Mattel, please step up and bring the other lines (Legends, Entrance Greats, Defining Moments) to the UK.
I hope we're going to be getting the Toys R Us exclusive WrestleMania 26 line here, too. |
